New front door question?

Afternoon all
I'm currently looking into replacing my old uPVC door with a new composite door and I'm hoping someone may be able to help with a few questions I have.
After some initial google searches I've noticed there's no shortage of suppliers/fitters all marketing very similar looking doors.
Would I be right in thinking that a lot of the doors that supplier/installers offer will originate from a handful of companies who manufacture the profile, only to be fabricated and then marketed by the supplier/fitter as their own?
I've found a great Eurocell door that I'd really like, would I just need to find a supplier who uses Eurocell profiles and approach them?
Thanks in advance

There may be only a handful of large manufacturers, but many, many smaller ones with only a few employees. But they may all buy various profiles from the same profile producers . .0

Hi all, just picking back on this one in hope someone can help.
I've been in touch with a few local companies and one of them told me that they use the Veka profiles for their composite doors. The guy on the phone told me to pop in an pick a brochure up and to organise a quick no obligation visit to price up. I had a look online and found a few nice Veka styles so went ahead to pick a brochure up and scope out the operation.
Interestingly the brochure I was given was for Distinction Doors that I can't seem to find any mention of Veka on, or the style I'd seen online. With the brochure I also got a company leaflet which again states they use Veka.
Am I misunderstanding something here?0 -
There is a lot of deliberate smoke and mirrors in the composite door industry. Typically a company will say we do Halo, or Duraflex or Rehau or Veka. This will men that is who makes the plastic profile used for the frame and can have nothing to do with the doors. It is deliberate mis representation it goes on the same with windows and conservatories
Be alert and remember buyer beware!0
