I sometimes get my Ebay tracked through Quidco but never ever get any BIN items tracked at all. It is immaterial anyway as I'm one of those waiting who never actually gets paid out so my balance just sits there month after month.

My son uses ebay a lot via Quidco and he also only gets normal auction stuff tracked *and* he gets paid out every month.

Ebay via Quidco seems to be quirky but it is great when it works. I have tested various scenarios and...

    1. Bid & win via ebay but pay via Quidco - tracked :)
    2. Bid & win via quidco but pay via ebay - not tracked :(
I also get cashback on both auction items and BIN.

To be safe, log out of ebay, clear ebay cookies, always go to ebay via quidco.

No, it's totally different, most browsers enable you to clear cookies, but doing it onyourmain browser would mean having to log into all those pesky forums and sites that require something to remember who you are.

Many people use a secondary browser for cashback shopping as it's easy to empty the cookies on that one and just use it for cashback. If you haven't tried firefox or opera it may be a good way to learn these and not have to worry about clearing your cookies on your main browser

No. Cookies are tiny bits of information that websites leave on your PC which they can pick up again when you next visit that website. This is how most websites remember you from your last visit.

Internet Explorer has a clear cookies option which zaps the whole lot so you get the problem that rare_stuff mentioned.

I use Firefox which allows me to just zap the cookies for ebay and leave all the other ones intact (forums etc.). :D

It can take a couple of days for the ebay purchases to show up on your quidco account but once there, they seem to be paid within a couple of months.
