The process has started in September 29th 2017 and it's been stuck in the final stages of the legal paper work since Dec.
Spoke to our solicitor and they have sent reminders to the sellers solicitor number of times. The sellers solicitor would then contact the management companies solicitor, this is where it has been stuck.
The seller spoke to the management company and all they do is pass on the reminder to their solicitor.
Is this normal?
Can this be sped up?
My mortgage offer ends on March 31st, what will happen then?

Find out what they are specifically waiting for.
I had one take 5 months before when the vendors had to sort a Deed of Variation/Rectification.
Could the vendors be getting cold feet?
Could the chain have fallen apart further up and nobody's wanted to tell you?
Your lender may extend your mortgage offer. But with one increase so far, and another predicted, it's looking less likely. If you get to early March, speak with your lender. If they will let you extend, they need to do this sooner rather than later (they'll need permission from higher up). Don't leave it until the last minute.2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0
