Hey!
So I studied from 2012 - 2015 in Northern Ireland and record student loans, etc.
Since 2015 to 2017 I was employed in the UK and paid my loan back via pay (it came out with tax as normal.
I moved to Republic of Ireland in April 2017 and since then have been laying £100 per month by direct debit.
It’s SOOO expensive, and living costs in Dublin are making it so impossible! Student Loans Company informed me I cannot reduce my loan payment amount.
Any advice?!

Your repayments are based on the sterling equivalent of your income, and make no allowance for differences in the cost of living in different countries. So all that you can do is check that they have calculated correctly, and are using a reasonable rate to convert your Euro income into sterling.0
