Leasehold Reforms

I understand that the purchase cost of a freehold is based on a standard calculation. I’m in the process of finding out how much it would cost me to buy the freehold of my (short lease) house but am wondering if I should wait for the leasehold reforms to come into effect as the government website says that the reforms will “make the process of purchasing a freehold or extending a lease much easier, faster and cheaper”
Does anyone know how the new costs will be calculated compared to the existing methodology?

A lot of people are wanting to know exactly what you have asked.
No-one on here seems knowledgeable about Leasehold and any potential reforms so if you aren't already get yourself joined to the FB page National Leasehold Campaign as they have a lot of support and are quick to update with any relevant information.0
