I have both gas and electricity supplied by First utility, but don't use any gas can I save by switching and only pay standing charge for gas.

Ebico Zero is ideal, they only do credit meters though.High tariff of over 5p/kwh but as you will not be using any you can t go wrong..get switching asap

I think you mean switch gas to a utility company with zero standing charge, like EBIco.
