Can't get TSB referral email, sent form x5

Options
I've been sending the TSB RAF online form in for nine days, used two different devices and one attempt in my local branch where they sent the form.

Result zilch.

I phoned dedicated RAF team at the weekend and told no known issues preventing me getting the referral email, suggested I deleted cookies, used different devices and when told I'd done all these things and applied in branch she said try again as she couldn't do it over the phone (my clever idea).

Am I alone, all details were entered correctly, have a friend ready to apply.

    No problems for me.

Have you checked your spam folder? No intention to patronise, but sometimes we can all overlook the obvious.
  • Thanks yes checked the junk folder many times, nothing. Tried again and noticed pressing the Submit button just wipes the form!

Tried yet again on a Kindle second time and there was a message saying thank you for submitting the form. That's a first apart from in branch a week ago? Half hour later nothing back yet. Was told it was almost instant. Something's up don't know what, usually OK with online applications.

Okay. I submitted the form using either Chrome or Edge (can't remember which) on a PC. Have you tried either of those?
  • Safari and Silk browser for the Kindle fire. No other options. Is the email reply almost instant in your experience. They might even think I keep applying so no further email even thoughI didn't get one in the first place. If their 'dedicated' team were more savvy they could have sorted this last weekend but easier to blame me and not their no issues system.

Down the branch tomorrow and they can sort it (or not);)

Any chance of doing it on a PC somewhere else, e.g. a local library or a friend's house?

Yes, I think the e-mail arrived within seconds.
  • I will get TSB to use their PC again and then make a complaint, so tedious, spent about two hours on this and can't see I've done anything wrong! Thanks for thinking about it!

Hope it gets sorted for you.

Doh have been using the linked Apple hotmail account which although its my hotmail account seems to filter out some emails especially the Junk/Trash/Spam folder ones and...........

Upon logging in to the actual but very slow loading these days hotmail account can see all the forms sent from branch and kindle got the link email response from TSB into the Junk folder, so my rant in branch this morning looks somewhat innapropriate now:o

Sent the referral link to friend who received it. Assuming he just opens the link and applies and somehow it gets tracked as being from me but don't know how? It said to copy and paste but don't know how so just forwarded it. Hope it is that simple;)

Will go and apologise later at TSB branch.

Never mind. At least it is sorted now.

Forwarding the e-mail is fine. Your friend just needs to click the link.
