Morrisons don't make their own petrol. You continue to be wrong about that, but why change old habits.
I'm not surprised that you won't apologise, given your previous behaviour.0 -
ValiantSon - Anthorn is no doubt referring to the not widely known Morrisons catchphrase 'Morrisons Makes It'

According to the Morrisons website they make more of their own food than any other supermarket.
But I agree you are correct. Morrisons DON'T make petrol!!0 -

I suppose that not being from the U.K. you wouldn't know Morrison's advertising slogan. try searching Morrisons on youtube.Superscrooge wrote: »ValiantSon - Anthorn is no doubt referring to the not widely known Morrisons catchphrase 'Morrisons Makes It'

But they add the additives to the standard fuel as do other retailers which I have already proved. Morrisons don't make the sultanas they add to the sultana scones they make either. My post that Morrisons makes it was in reply to a post about the additives in Morrisons fuel. Read back.0 -

I live in what was Morrisons home ground and have 4 or 5 Morrisons within a short driving distance and I even shop in Morrisons at least once a week as it’s the supermarket of choice for my in-laws who we shop for. I also had absolutely no idea what you were on about.
It just looks more like you were trolling with something completely unconnected from the thread...====0 -

Not true. I wasn't the first to post about the additives in Morrisons fuel and in fact my first post in this thread was in reply to a post about the additives in Morrisons fuel and consisted of one line of a few words, "Morrisons makes it". In addition I did appeal to return to the topic but the aside was continued by others. Lastly my subsequent posts were in reply to others, for example being asked to apologise for something I posted which I later proved to be true.
Ok back to the topic!0 -

Why do you assume that I'm not from the UK? What a bizarre assumption to make. FWIW, I was born in the UK, grew up in the UK, and still live in the UK.
I'm not familiar with Morrison's advertising slogan. It isn't very successful is it? (To be fair, I don't watch television, so I have less exposure to such drivel). But they add the additives to the standard fuel as do other retailers which I have already proved. If you'd care to read the thread yourself, you'd find that I actually commented on different additives for each retailer being proprietary. I made this comment before you even posted. Post #13, for your reference. (Your first post, #15).
I interpreted your comments as mocking and rude. If that wasn't your intention, then I accept that.0 -

I'm sorry, but you didn't prove anything to be true. I had already said that each retailer has a proprietary mix of additives. Your posts were so lacking in any context that most of us had no idea that you were referencing some little known marketing slogan.
I suggested you ought to apologise for being rude and mocking me for posting accurate information.
It should have been clear to you that nobody had got your joke and, rather than just repeating it and annoying people over your apparent intransigence, you could simply have explained.0 -
Used the Santander Select card today at Sainsbury's Pay at Pump. No issues at all. Wonder why Morrison's won't take it. Very odd.0
