in Credit cards
Hi,
I can't seem to find the answer anywhere so thought someone here might know....
Is it good or bad when paying to your credit cards to not pay in full in one go?
Ie: my balance is £52.84 and I'm paid weekly. So week one I pay 32.84. The next week I pay the remaining £20.
Is that good or bad for your credit file?
Thanks

Just make sure you clear it in full by the due date, unless you are on a promo rate.0

So as long as its paid in full either way it doesn't matter. And that's just the latest statement balance right??0

Clear the statement balance in full, and before the due date - it doesn't matter in what quantities the payment is made.0

make sure that you leave some to appear on the statement otherwise it will look like you aren't using the cardI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans
