Hi people! I was just after some advice if possible. Well I went on holiday afew months ago, all went fine untill the way back.
Firstly my bag was to heavy and i had to pay excess baggage of £90 (Which is fair enough and paid without a problem or hassel) However on landing in this country guess what? No bag. The bag later turned up and was delivered 3 days later.
Iv been in corrispondance with first choice reguarding getting the excess baggage cost back! After aload of ignored emails and letters, i was finally smart and sent a letter recorded delivery stating some law that they had to reply within 14 days. Anyways after afew months i finnal got a cheque throught the post today for £40.
I was just wondering if anybody knows where I stand on this? Should I be greatfull with that? Should i Be looking to get the full excess charge back? Or do i have the right to go for the full charge plus something extra?
Thanks.
