Pip basic rate and car tax

Hi all , after moving from dla higher rate mobility to pip basic rate mobility ( after appeal and tribunal) I understand this entitles me to a 50% reduction in ved?
And from what I've read it's a bit of a hurdle to get
( current car tax only £30pa ) so wasn't going to bother.
But does anyone know if you can get any discounts such as the dart Ford crossing or congestion charge??
Or would you need higher rate to get these
Thank you all

No, There is somethings you do need to pay for whilst on PIP, Sadly it isn't the ultimate socialist benefit that entitles one to everything for free, I wish it did :(

I think you can get some concession's through the blue badge scheme. If you look online at this.

    Thank you for your reply.
Yep can still get Severn bridge crossing with blue badge.
Probably not worth going through the rigmarole of applying for the ved discount with current car

If you did decide in the future to use the 50% reduction, then you'll need to send all your documents, V5C, MOT certificate, payment to DVLA. Details in link here. https://www.disabledmotoring.org/motoring/road-tax-50-reduction

The car must also only be used for the disabled person needs and can't be used for the niminated drivers personnal use.
