Santander App

Options
Has anyone updated to the latest version?

I did this morning and apart from moving into the present with fingerprint recognition I would say the new app is crap. A bit like their customer service.

Can anyone find out where you view pending payments.?

  • I agree that the new app is rubbish .they may have increased security but the useability is pants .I can't find pending payments either. My big issue is the fact that the new app does not allow you to change the amount of a standing order. We are not alone have you read the reviews on Google play

Halifax's Android app allows punters to set up, change and delete standing orders.

Yes it does, you can't have looked properly. They're listed under Transfers and Payments.

Confusingly, there are two sections called Transfers and Payments on the Halifax app. If you select your account first, and then Transfers and Payments, you'll only get an option for existing one-off payments, or to add a new payee. If you select the main menu instead, then Transfers and Payments, the sub menu lists Move money, Direct Debits and Standing orders.

I have often wondered if any of these programmers used by the banks actually use on line banking themselves :o

    I haven't but I might :D

I use Santander as my main account as the app was great for my needs.

Due to this and their recent customer service, I'm actually thinking of moving the £20k into a 1yr bond with higher interest and getting rid of them.
