I have three questions I would like some advice on.
Firstly, DLA - when you are sent a pack to migrate onto PIP, if the first form isn't returned on time and they suspend the claim will they put payment back into play if you call within 30 days of a suspension?
I ask, because post is hit and miss (shared letterbox!)
Secondly, CA - how long AFTER DLA is CA paid for?
So say, pip is claimed, but unsuccessful how long after that decision would it be paid for?
Finally, how long from claim pip will it be (ball park figure) till a actual assessment takes place?
I am seeking these questions for someone without internet access and therefore hope I've put them across clearly.
Thank-you

If the PIP form isn't returned on time the DLA will stop, it won't start back up. They need to ring and ask for extra time to return those forms. 14 days extra will be given, if needed. Once they have that, it's their responsibility to make sure they send the forms in plenty of time to arrive.I have three questions I would like some advice on.

If PIP isn't successful CAa is paid for a further 4 weeks after the decision is made.
There's no time frames for how long the PIP will take. It all depends on backlog in their area.
They need to make sure they send all their evidence with the PIP form. Don't rely on them contacting anyone, it very rarelly happens.0 -
And they should make copies of everything for reference.0

I had to phone twice for extensions on returning a completed PIP form. It was granted. I even phoned a couple of days after the extension end, explained why i was late phoning to ask for another one and was still given an extension (things became a bit stressful at home, forgot what day it was).
But I guess it depends how late you are. If its just a few days, it probably will be possible.0
