Viagogo Ticket Purchase Rip Off

My son bought 2 tickets from Viagogo to see C2C in Glasgow. he has paid way over the face value price, and not got the seats he selected. In fact, he probably has the worst seats in the house. He paid by PayPal for the tickets. Is there any recourse for a refund?

Can he prove he has not got the seats he selected?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
English is my second language, I'm Scottish.
His receipt does not show his seat selection.0 -
Paying over the odds makes something poor value, not a rip off.
Can he login to his account and see if the seating details are there? (Not sure if Viagogo has that functionality, but worth checking.) Without proof that he was not provided with the seats booked, any attempt for a refund will fail.0 -
I'm confused - isn't C2C a train operator?
Am I now officially "old" if turns out it's a band I've never heard of?
Can you buy train tickets on Viagogo?0 -

Being ripped off by a ticket tout? Who would have thought it.0

Resell websites are obliged by law to show you the specific seat before you purchase them.
The only reason to buy off Viagogo is if face value tickets are not available any more. The receipt should show where the tickets are.
Sounds like buyers remorse via pressure from "dad" more than anything else.0 -
I know how you feel, we have been ripped off by them as well we paid 210.55 for 2 face value tickets to see Paul Carrack in Manchester, where should have been 35.00 eack, its not the ticket prices that got us, before we paid it said 2x75.00 delivery fee 5.00 and booking fees included, so with that we booked it wasn't until we got the credit card bill we found that there was an extra 60.00 added to the bill. now they cant say that's a computer glitch as i have been reading, there's no telephone number on there, so i found their ceos email and send him an email. i also posed his email on twitter im sure he will be getting a lot of emails now!!0

Do you have a telephone number for them or an email address as there's no way of contacting them, the email to customer seres just never replied too0
