Bought tickets from VIAGOGO

I bought tickets from VIAGOGO, I paid 283 pound all together but when the tickets came, it didn’t come
In my name and the tickets were 39.50 each. On top of that, it requires ID and when I rang the Motorpoint arena, they said I may not have luck on getting into the arena. I’m really upset about this, what can I do?. I have contacted them multiple times but no reply.

When you buy from any third party seller then you are very unlikely to be paying face value , there is always a mark up. If you don't want that, then buy directly from the venue/official ticket agency. It is also not uncommon for venues to say they will only let the person named on the ticket in as they are trying to stop touts selling on for silly money. Whether they put that onto practice on the night depends on the venue and promoter.
What do viagogo say about a refund if you can't get in? Their guarantee says "Buyers are guaranteed to receive valid tickets in time for the event. If a problem arises, viagogo will step in to provide comparable replacement tickets or a refund."All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

It's Viagogo who refund the money. They offer a guarantee that if you can't get in they give a refund. Some posters on here have reported getting most of their money back.
The problem is that it's likely that people will have spent more money, possibly a lot more, on travel and accommodation, and they won't get any of that back. Which is one of the reasons why I'd never consider buying anything on the secondary ticketing market.0 -

I really dislike the phrase secondary ticket market. I prefer tout, which is what it boils down to.0 -
