Scotland/NI Query

I had commented on an existing thread as your NEWBIES post suggested not to start new threads.
Now been advised to start a new thread so here it is
I have read your NEWBIES section. Thank you for the effort of putting info in one place.
Secondly, in the FAQs you advise that in Scotland/NI "COMPLAIN TO STORE MANAGEMENT IF YOUR PCN IS FROM A RETAIL PARK, BUT DO NOT APPEAL"
If this supposed incident was not in a retail park, or hospital or hotel (as much of your FAQ describes) what should be done?
Later in the FAQ you advise "Appealing a private PCN (England & Wales ONLY)" and give advice on for eg Postal PCN from a BPA or IPC member - again any advice on Scotland/NI?
If no advice, any suggestions on who to contact who would have advice relating specifically to Scotland/NI?
TIA

if in scotland/ni do not appeal to parking Co , you are liable to accidentally name yourself as driver0

If there is a landowner to complain to then complain. If complaining is too difficult then do nothing. Not a thing. Zip. Nada. Zilch.0

Had spotted this reply in response to another thread question
"So I think their NTKs are now OK. Unless it arrived at your house later than day 15?"
The NTK PCN received states the date of supposed contravention was 2/2/18. Letter arrived today by post 19/2/18... so does that have any bearing in Scotland/NI as well?0 -
Fab thanks guys! Ignoring. :T0

All of that is irrelevant in Scotland/NI, simply because the Protection of Freedoms Act does not apply there.0 -

Really - So what on earth did you make of post six?

And you are grossly overthinking things - Which is a near-certain way to give-up information that might let a PPC hold you liable in Scotland. Contacting people up here is often the very worst thing you could do.0
