Hi,
I have looked for the general advice thread but the only sticky I can find is on POPLA appeals, so I am asking for some advice.
My husband received a parking charge on his windscreen 16/01/18. He ignored it. He says he did not see the signs saying private car park. Anyway, today he has received a parking charge amount of £100.
Should he appeal it on the ukpc appeals website?
Any help much appreciated.
Thank you.

Why have you started a further thread about the same issue. You have been given the correct advice - including the link to the sticky you need - in your original thread. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I re-posted because I thought the original had not posted. I did not have notifications turned on. My thread was on my laptop screen when I returned to it after I had been out of the room so I thought I had not posted the original.Starting balance £173,000 (Sept 2012) interest only so if we do nothing We will owe this at the end of the term😁😁

the only sticky I can find is on POPLA appeals,
Read the other one, underneath it on page one. My signature tells you where to click to find it, under the POPLA Decisions one.
Your OH has already reduced his chances of winning by allowing UKPC the time to serve a NTK. Mistake that he can't now rectify, but he could beat them on signage or no keeper liability, at POPLA in the end. No big deal even if the appeal is lost, these cases are defendable, and UKPC normally tend to pursue multi-ticket cases in court, not odd ones.
So no worries.
Yes, as 'NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST' explain. Using the template there. Not coming back and saying, ''yes but is it right in our case, there were signs up''. Yes it's a one size fits all appeal for a keeper to use, as is.Should he appeal it on the ukpc appeals website?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
