Buying a flat with Saniflo system?

I lived in a houseshare for a year that had a normal upstairs bathroom, and a Saniflo loo in the cupboard under the stairs (literally the smallest space in which you could just about fit a bog and tiny sink). There were 4 women in the house and we didn't experience any issues with it.They are an EYESORES!!!!0

We've got one in our house downstairs and two youngish children.
No problems with wee, poo (big jobs and little jobs) or vomit. It can also handle a decent amount of loo roll for multi-wipe situations.
We do have a sign up in the loo stating only loo roll to be used and nothing else to go down there.
In 5+ years we have been incident free.0 -
Look after your macerator and it will look after you.
I purchased a flat in 2010 which had a 15 year old macerator for the only toilet. This lasted me 4 years, by which time it had served faithfully for 19 years.
The replacement is fine and has been in for 4 years with no problems. I currently let my flat out and have reminded the tenant of how to look after it (ie not flushing the wrong things down it).
A worthwhile investment was fitting the toilet with two waterproof stickers from eBay with instructions on what not to throw down - one on the cistern and one under the lid!!

Right, I'm stumped. I can understand everything else on the list, but what metal items might people be tempted to try flushing away?
If you treat a saniflo the same as you'd treat a normal bog connected to a septic tank, you'll probably be fine. Probably. But if/when it does have a sulk...0 -
I've heard of reading glasses being recovered from Macerators - though probably not intentionally flushed away!!0
