Why not discuss the various asset classes that exist and ask him to choose a fund from each? Then he will see how different asset classes perform and their correlation.0

I think it's a great idea and wish my parents had known enough to do the same with me. I'm investing for our 5 month old but when he gets to 14 I'll certainly be following your example.0

Its a subject that I can't pretend that i know enough about
