Plevin and Insurance Companies

Have put in a claim for Plevin to insurance company Cardiff Pinnacle who say the act doesn’ t include insurance companies so therefore can’t claim. Is this right?

Plevin is all about an unfair relationship between the lender (or seler of both the lending and insurance) and the insurance.
If the policy was not sold by the lender at the point of sale of the debt or is not even linked to a debt then Plevin does not apply.
