Hi,
I've recently been diagnosed with cancer. Am I entitled to PIP? I've currently awaiting to hear back from the DWP PIP team in relation to my claim and have mentioned how the cancer is affecting me on a day to day basis.
Is anyone else been in a similar situation? I'd appreciate any feedback etc.
Thanks

Not necessarily.
It is not about your illness it is about how it effects you

Strongly suggest that you get in contact with MacMillan and ask to be put in touch with one of their benefits advisers. They will be able to help you with Pip and other benefits

Unless it is terminal and you are expected to have no more than six months to live, in which case you claim under Special Rules.0
