Part exchange haggling

Looking for some advice...
We are going again to look at a Barrett new build development next weekend and have booked to have a chat to someone about part exchange. For several reasons part exchange appeals to us but I also understand that you are very likely to get offered a less than market value for your house.
I’ve also heard that with Px any kind of haggling in house price, extras, fixtures and fittings and stamp duty paid etc are refused.
Has anyone done a part exchange and managed to haggle or get any of these things included?
The MSE in me doesn’t want to just accept that that is the price we will pay without at least trying to get some extra incentives!
All advice welcome

P/X deals have 2 big advantages, no EA fees and your house is definitely sold to the first would be buyer. No having loads of strangers parading through your property, no frantic cleaning/tidying before they come.

From the developer's point of view they're doing you a favour, they're the ones stuck with having to sell your house, which may not be appealing as you believe. They will have to pay EA and could be 6 months or more before it is sold.

So they obviously aren't going to offer you full market value, not want to give any extras, unless their new builds are difficult to shift. But no harm in asking or trying to negotiate, but don't be too optimistic.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales
