PCP Car return

Hi all,

After a little bit of advice any you can give would be great fully received.

My PCP car was returned in September 2017. At the time some charges came up all of which one I accepted. The remaining item I disputed was the carpet having damage which I did not agree with. The collector said chances are you will not get charged so don’t worry about it.

On the inital paperwork it said that any damage costs would be reported back in 4-6 weeks. Roll on 5 months.. I have yesterday received a bill dated last week from the hire company requesting payment in the next 14 days for all charges including that of the item I disputed.

Has anyone had any experience of disputing a charge given 5 months have passed since the return of the vehicle? Does anyone believe I have the potential of disputing this?

Thanks
