Hi again,
I can't seem to find the answer anywhere so hopefully you guys can help me. Do I need to send the physical acknowledgement of service form back to the court as well as do it on MCOL?0 -
No, you do not.Trina.lawrence1 wrote: »Hi again,

Hi guys,
I've just received my questionnaire in receipt to my defence.
Am I right in thinking to say reject mediation as I've read in the past CEL don't bother with it themselves and the best route is to take it as far as court if needs be?
Also, in terms of the witnesses attending in court, is this in reference to witnesses of the event or witnesses standing in court because I still don't want to admit to who was the driver and surely this is the case if the witnesses refer to this?
Sounds like really stupid questions, but i'd really appreciate any help given!0 -
All those questions have been asked and answered many times before.
Every time you need support your first port of call really should be post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.
In particular, read Bargepole's walkthrough linked from there.0 -
The help you need (everything court-related) is covered in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #2. Its a resource dedicated to dealing with court issues, from the initial LBA, right through to any court hearing.Sounds like really stupid questions, but i'd really appreciate any help given!
That sticky should be your 'Bible' from here on, as everything you need will be covered there. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I've got it, thank you!0 -
I thought I’d give a quick update if anyone else reads this thread. So the last communication I had with CEL or the County Court was in June and, since just coming off the phone with the court as I requested an update, CEL failed to respond to the request of the court for an in depth version of the Particulars Of Claim (despite sending myself one) therefore the claim has been struck out!! Fantastic news!
Thanks to all who helped!0 -
Well done! A good start to the New Year.0
