I bought a sofa from Harvey's 4 days ago. It could not fit into my flat. I have been told l have to pay 200 pounds administration charge, is that common?. Cancelling the order l have to pay an Administration charge?

Did you buy in store or online? If you bought in store then yes they can charge you, they don't even have to let you cancel unless it was their fault. Generally you need to make sure it fits before you buy it.
Their T&C's for cancellation for in store purchases will tell you, have you read them?0 -
Well when l spoke to the store they had said some parts of it could come off so l could fit it in. However the biggest part could not fit because it could not come off. I am only changing the sofa. The transport dept was quite understanding. Apparently the area Manager makes a determination on how much this charge is0
