Morning,
Just wondering if anyone uses Monzo? I've had the pre paid card and just upgraded to the full account.
Just wanted to know peoples thoughts,
Thanks.

Had my full account since November 2017 and had the pre pay since Jan. love the account, I use in conjunction with my Lloyds account, really is the future of banking- and I work for a bank!0

My new cards just came, I like the lay out of the app and the savings pots you can do with ease opening and close on the app where as with nationwide you need to do it on a browser not the app.
I'm going to use it for a weekly budget account and any left over money will put into a savings pots so it's always there.

You need an account with a different bank if you need to pay cheques in.0

I'm just pleased that Monzo/Mondo has actually become a bank account. So now I don't have to keep on saying, "It's not a bank account, it's a prepaid card." In the recent past people were misled by websites they trust for advice referring to it as a "bank account' even M.S.E!0

I've had a Monzo account for a while and I love it. I like the way everything is categorised. I just put a set amount in each week and use that as my basic spending. For me, it's made budgeting so much easier.
I also like the fact that when I go to Florida in April, I can just load up Monzo and have no forex charges!ENFP - AssertiveOfficially in a clique of idiotsSmoke me a kipper; I'll be back for breakfast0 -
I previously had the pre pay card which I've upgraded but not had reason to use. I found that the pre pay card was rejected fairly regularly in Chile. Does anyone have any feedback on how it works abroad now that it's a debit card?
I won't be using it until May and I'll have a Halifax Clarity (and other emergency cards).0 -

Most U.S. ATM’s charge $3-4 per withdrawal so it may be cheaper to get your cash in the UK. When using your card in a shop the terminal will give a choice as a debit or credit card, you may have to try it as both until it works and please take a back up card (I use Revolut) in case it doesn’t work. Works fine with no fuss in the R.O.W.0
