    £120 delivered for a kingsize
I bought the extra firm one, but i would recommend you pick the comfort version unless you are used to a very firm mattress.

Its easily as good as the expensive pocket sprung mattress i had before it.
It was delivered next day too ( and no delivery charge !! ).
I can very highly recommend them.

If you go for a memory foam model , be aware there is a learning period. It can take a week or two to get used to them. The non-memory foam version like i bought is easier to get used to, as it does not restrict your movement as much.

The mattress you refer to isn't memory foam, it is just reflex foam which can be found at those prices (and cheaper) in many places. There are actually a few dodgy sellers on ebay who are trying to pass the same mattresses off as memory foam so beware.

It is true that is can take up to a week to get used to memory foam, and also that the memory foam takes a while to soften.

The only way that memory foam can restrict your movement is when some manufacturers use too deep a layer of memory foam as a sales gimmick. The optimum depth is 2" to 2.5". If it is deeper than this it can also engilf you and make you too hot.

i was after one myself recently and after a lot of looking around bought a memory foam one off ebay..cant remember the seller but there were only 2 sellers selling the 10" foam mattress (6" foam and 4" memory foam). I picked one up for £150 roughly in total.

Absolutely fantastic, best night sleep ive ever had - you just sink into it.

Id reccomend memory foam mattress and make sure its a minimum of at least 4" memory foam

4" of memory foam is far too deep (unless you like being very hot and unable to change position in bed). You obviously like it, but most people wouldn't.

    Need a New Mattress

    Afternoon all,

The wife and I have been having bad back and now she has found out she is pregnant again I want to buy a new king size mattress. Argos had a great deal on the Silentnight Avante King Size Memory Mattress £660 down to £330 but offer has now ended.

Another site said this was a superb mattress and good seller. But the low price puts me off.
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200162549111&ru=http://search.ebay.co.uk:80/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=200162549111&fvi=1

Anyone know of any good places and good deals or suggestions?

Sorry to leave so many posts at once, but I had to answer 3 posts:

Many of you will know my views on a certain company starting with 'S', so I won't say any more about them.

As for the one on ebay it seems a very good price. There are only a couple of problems with it:
    1) The memory foam is a little too deep at 3".
    2) The density of the memory foam is at the lower end of the acceptable range, but it is within the range, so as long as you don't want a firm mattress it should be OK.

However the foam is made by Vitafoam who are a very good manufacturer.
