We have shutters, approached a local ish company who quoted around 1700 for one bay window and a small standard window.. e paid our deposite then had a rethink and bought them from the shutter store and fit them ourselves with relative ease. they have a handy measure guide. Love them.0

I am in the same boat as well..
got a well known shutter company based in London to quote and it has come at £3700 for MDF and £4600 for Wood and its just 4 rooms in total (2 bay, 1 L shaped and 1 normal window) and all of them as tier on tier shutters.. I am having more local companies quote this week to see the difference..

Hello,
Could you say who these quotes are from and what area you're in please? Looking at quotes for a single bay window in Cardiff...
Thank you,.0 -
If you dont mind doing a bit of DIY look at DIY Shutters. They are not hard to fit - if you aren't confident then get a handyman to do it, anyone who can use a drill can fit them. They walk you through the whole measuring process with guides and videos and a phone call1
