Car insurance 30% more expensive for moving nearby

We're in the process of buying a place, very near where we currently live - same neighborhood, same council, just one block away from where we currently live. The car insurance is due for renewal around the same date we're expected to move.
I was looking at comparethemarket.com and confused.com and got a quote for £360, but then realised that I still had my current address in my personal details. I plugged in the new address and to my surprise the cheapest quote on either site was £480!! How can this possibly be? I mean, the car is likely to end up being parked in the exact same place it's always been parked, drive around the same roads, etc.
Any advice? Is this something I could sort out over the phone with the insurance company?

Maybe the area is higher rated due to more crime/claims etc
Try a local broker (not Swinton) who may know about the issues at your new address and know a sympathetic insurer to use0 -
You can check the website that lists any crimes in the area, checkmystreet might be the website, there are others just look on Google.0
