Something funny with Facebook

When I type my friends name into the search box I come up with a page that appears to be hers but is definitely not

The page I’m seeing have a limited number of posts. The first is of a woman we both know, but did not put the. Image up

A little down the page is a photo that looks almost like my friend, but it is not. It’s sick looking and was posted way back. The comments on it are from people she doesn’t know, they seem to be American. I’m getting that on my iPad. If I log out of my Facebook account and log in as my friend everything is as it should be

Doesn't typing your friend's name not just list everyone on FB with that name? Perhaps you are selecting the wrong person

I appreciate what you are saying and I did check that

The strange thing was that at the top of the page there was a photo of a mutual friend’s birthday party but neither of us had posted it. There was also the image of my friend’s little dog. Scroll down however and you get material from an individual with the same name but neither my friend or her wider circle know her in anyway

Possibly done by a "Friend of a friend" or could have been "Public" but the friend named. or by someone who linked it to that name. Facebook is it's own law and strange things happen there.

I know someone who had a similar problem and it turned out this person was "hacking" their account and has been reported to the police:

It may be the same person because apparently it's happened to alot of people!.
