The joys of a shared ownership new build....

Just a bit of a rant.
My girlfriend and I are in the process of buying a new build via shared ownership. We thought this should be pretty stress free as house was already built and we have no chain being FTB's.
Our housing association (Flagship Homes) keep saying they are waiting for information from the builders (Crest Nicholson) and have been putting us back weeks at a time. In the end we wrote quite snotty letters to both saying we want a resolution now, perhaps with some sort of compensation. We get a prompt call back from Crest and they say all documentation has been sent in August. We then call Flagship and our "sales advisor" says that Crest are lying and they haven't received anything yet. I'm not sure who to believe and think thats its just getting ridiculous! I never thought it would get this stressful!
Rant Over.

i know how you feel. I had somethng v similar happen to me.
I would find someone sympathetic at crest and get them to fax the doc to flagship while you are on the phone
then call flagship and say "its coming out of the fax machine now is it there
Someties you feel you have to do everything yourself, but i believe if a jobs worth doing its worth doing myself! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
