Hi I am just after a bit of information please. I am a first time buyer. Will I need Life Insurance and Mortgage Protection Insurance or just 1 or the other.

Will I need Life Insurance and Mortgage Protection Insurance or just 1 or the other.
Mortgage protection insurance is a marketing name used by a number of different types of insurance. It is also a term that generically applies ot any insurance that can be used with a mortgage.
The insurances that are generally considered (but not necessarily required) are:
life assurance
critical illness cover
Permanent health insurance (PHI)
Payment protection insurance (PPI)
