River Cruises

Posting again as first received no response, would appreciate any advice.

Has anyone on the Forum experienced a river cruise in France? We have cruised the Rhine and the Danube/Donau, now would like to see French waterways. Not interested in Sea cruises, with the exception of touring the UK coastline: anyone done that?
I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

  • From the lack of responses, it seems as if not too many folks hereabouts have been on a French river cruise, including me !!!

I would suggest the Rhone valley cruises might suit you best.

She doesn't do river cruises or the Bonny Tyler song "Lost In France".

And "always" has only one 'l' .

I think you will find she does indeed do river cruses, If I have spelt anything wrong, please don't correct me....I am only trying to be helpful .
  • Jane has done several river cruises from memory, they were quite interesting programmes too. Perhaps they are on catch up?

We are also interested in doing one but picking which one, and which company is difficult as there seems to be less information available and fewer reviews than for sea cruises.

I googled one that she did and it very expensive, not surprised as it looked like the boat was full of money people.

They are mostly very expensive....not aimed at the mass market really, unlike sea cruises, some of which have gone a bit downmarket in their aim to appeal to the masses.
