Charge issued 4 months after!

I have received a parking charge notice today 15/2/1018 that is dated for 30/9/2017. Is there a time limit for highway parking to issue this notice. As 4 months later seems a bit late to me! No other notices have been issued prior to this. They are part of the BPA.
Thankyou

    you mean HIGHVIEW, NOT HIGHWAY

of course they can do this, they have 6 years to issue a pcn, but to comply with POFA2012 it had to arrive much, much sooner, so as keeper you are not liable

use the template letter from the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread that you should have read, appeal as KEEPER (not driver) and they should cancel it

if they dont , a typical popla appeal with the time delay as number one item will kill it for you
  • Thank you. Yes that’s who I meant! What is popla? Sorry not had this before.

You need to read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, as no one will have the time to give you all the basic information you need, to understand the game in which you are ensnared, and what you have to do (with some forum help) to get you out of your predicament.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It would be a good idea to read that thread that Redx pointed you towards before asking further questions.

It's not a quick read. Take your time to understand what you are now caught up in.

You don't even need POPLA, and can get this cancelled within days.

Search the forum for Highview. Easiest one you could choose to get!

Yes, it seems they lost data then found it again, wonder what the issue was?
