20 year old income support overpayment

i committed fraud to the DWP in 2001 to 2002 from october to February working whilst cashing a sickness payment very silly of me and got caught and had an interview about the alleged fraud i denied it and never payed anything i was supposed to go to a 2nd interview =but didnt go and it was dealt with in my absence. this was obviously 16 years ago i had many jobs since and in between jobs when signing on the dole they would write to me about the debt you owe us . you see they used to leave me alone when i was working and only ever bring the debt up when i was back on the system in between jobs signing on but in recent years they have been taking 30 a month off me by a direct debit . it is only by chance that they wrote to me today saying they want to increase the payments and i queried how come it is taking so long to pay this bloody debt off and they told me i have cleared the 1st overpayment up which i did not even owe . they claim i owe money from 1998 to 1999 and i know they are wrong i was not workin in this period yet i hav paid a sum of 1100,.00 and cleared it and i know for a fact this is absolute rubbish as i have only ever committed fraud once when i phoned up about this they are saying the reaason for the overpayment is full time work even though i was not working in that period . i have now got an address to write to by letter to have this explained to me fully tbut i know the dwp have made this debt up and have swindled 1100 out of me !!!!

It must be Half Term again, and someone has a creative writing project to complete?

Or, perhaps Maths - and the calculation of interest homework?

I would go for half term as its half term where I live

I suspect the non attendance of the OP from their English Grammar, Logic, and Civic Responsibilities lessons may hinder thier half term project.
