I am a total newbie at posting and S&S, so apologies! I purchased 5000 shares in Carnival, as I cruise a lot and shareholders are given free on board credit. I chose IG as it did not have ongoing charges. They are now intending to charge £25 per quarter for inactive accounts! I do not want to deal, just want to keep these shares. I think I am correct in saying I can transfer to another company. But who/what? Any advice, in plain English, gratefully received!

You could always pay to obtain a physical paper copy of the certificate and then just stick it in your bottom draw (so to speak), £50 I think from IG.I do not want to deal, just want to keep these shares.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True
