Getting my credit from the Coop energy

Options
Hi looking for advice. I left the Coop and went to dreaded EDF, went live 11th Dec. EDF asked for meter reading 9th Dec and my last bill from the Coop was the 19th Nov with £231.82 in credit. Then my last payment was £89 on 27th Nov taking it to £320 credit. I have rang up 12 times asking for my finally bill to be told still waiting for electric reading they have the gas. So rang EDF to be told reading was sent and they resent them again. Just over 9 weeks and still nothing. 3 Weeks ago I started complaint against Coop as all I want is my money that I am owed as if this was the other way round I think the Coop would be working a lot faster. Its makes me angry as I can do nothing more but surely the 2 company's can work this out or is it the Coop dragging it out because its my money.

Presumably you supplied the meter readings to EDF?

Could it be that Co-Op are disputing those readings?

This is becoming a common theme. Contact your new supplier and ask them whether they have provided the Coop with verified readings via industry flows? Ask them for the date when they were passed on to the old supplier? Your new supplier will be able to tell you what the verified readings are. Raise a written complaint against your old supplier and pass on all the information that you have been given. Request that the Coop raise a Final Bill using the verified readings that you have provided. Tell them that you will close the complaint once you have been re-paid the credit balance due.
