Hi guys,
The last owner of my car looks to have 'sprayed' oil all over the engine bay... I've had it checked out, and mechanically there's no issues, leaks etc. What I'm after is a good cleaner? A degreaser or some such that you can leave to soak and then come back later and wash off
A friend of mine, formally in the trade, used to use some kind of spray that foamed up, you let set then you washed off. I only saw him do a couple of cars but the end result was amazing! Everything was like new.
Any over the counter products out there?
Thanks.

Gunk used to be one of the best but I've not used it in a while. I'm sure there are more advanced engine degreasers available nowadays...You can have results or excuses, but not both.Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!

Gunk.
You can buy a smallish aerosol - or a larger can and put it into a cheap sprayer.0 -

Until you force steam under pressure into any one of the many electronic components on a modern car engine.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.
