Dating site trying to enforce auto renewal

Hi, I am in the exact situation and tried to cancel before the renewal date but not within 7 day period. Managed to cancel my paypal before they took the money out my account. Can you tell me what the outcome was with your situation. Did you have to pay it and what process did you get involved in afterwards. Would appreciate any help with this so I know what to expect. Thanks

Given that is from Sept I don't think you will get a reply.

If they have not taken the payment.
If via Paypal cancel in your paypal account.
If it comes out of your bank account. Contact bank and cancel at their end.

If payment has already been taken then you can cancel future ones with either of the above. But unless you have cancelled with the co before payment is taken. Then you are at their mercy for a refund.
If cancelled prior to them taking the funds. Then speak to bank (chargeback) need date of cancellation. Or if via paypal then again dispute via their system.
