ISIN references

I requested that a particular fund be purchased and quoted the ISIN number to be sure they got it right. I've had confirmation, the name of the fund is the same to the letter as I requested but the ISIN number they quote is totally different. Why?

You can go onto Trustnet and see all the classes of funds with their respective ISIN numbers.
For example, one fund I own is Fidelity Moneybuilder Inc. Under the "Unit Details" section it quotes 4 classes each with their own ISIN number.

GB00B2PLJN71 purchased, same title.

I don't know why these ISIN numbers have to be so complex! The O or 0 I've quoted in the references may not be correct.

Did you request a superclean class they did not have available?
Or did they use a superclean class they had in preference to the clean class?

GB00BJT0KR04 is Artemis High Income I Monthly Inc (edited ISIN to show correct digits)

GB00B2PLJN71 is Artemis High Income I Inc

Where did you get that ISIN from? It's not a valid format.

It seems that the fund comes in 2 distribution types, monthly and quarterly GB00BJT0KR04 (Artemis High Income I Monthly Inc) and GB00B2PLJN71 (Artemis High Income I Inc). Same OCF

1. I don't know! I don't really understand the complications of those terms I'm afraid, I'm no expert. I asked them to come back to me if there were any problems and they didn't.

2. In practical terms are there any differences?
