Previous owners loan still at address?

Hiya all me moved into our home in May this year with the property being vacant since december last year.
We are still receiving post for the previous owner despite sending it back (return to sender mrs x no longer lives here)
After opening one of her letters by accident we discovered that she has a loan that is still listed as this address? what does this mean? if she defaults will they come to us?
We contacted the company and they said that only she can change the address?

Any help please!

  • Don't worry just keep marking them as return to sender. They will stop eventually (probably take a while though). The previous occupant having a loan shouldn't affect you in any way. If she defaults theres no way this can come back on you.

only "she" can change the address to a new one.

but you can write to the lender to tell them she's no longer at your address and ask them to amend their records to remove your address.
