Capital one card upgrade?

Next week im doing a BT of £600 from Capital one to the 0% offer on my Platinum Barclaycard...
The Capital one card was a classic...then a while ago after i payed the ballance of they upgraded me to premier.......
So when i do this BT next week which will clear the ballance of Capital one again might they upgrade me to platinum or should i close the account and then apply for a platinum card?...................
