Just discovered CCJ from Parkingeye

Hi
Just discovered I have a ccj from parking eye. The judgement was added in 2014. I remember receiving the initial notice and some follow up but never court papers. At the time I read advice to ignore the letters. I can't remember how long I was actually over on the car park all I know is the location and car registration form Norwich county court. I have only moved address last year.
Is the time after the judgement to long to attempt to set aside?
If not should I put the form in to set aside or contact parking eye first to resend the details of the offence.
Any help will be gratefully received.

three quarters down this post shows links to doing a set aside http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=64350585&postcount=2
this may cost you £255
as this is over half way into the 6 yrs , can you not just swallow it
failing that do a setaside
all links and advice are shown in that thread , scroll down and read0 -

By "swallow it" bear in mind that a claimant can enforce the ccj at any time throughout the six years.
When they choose to (eg after a tracing agent located the defendant's new address) they will get an enforcement order (eg for bailiffs/attachment of earnings etc) and all costs involved (court fees/bailiffs charges etc) will all be added to the money owed by the defendant.
A successful set aside stops all that!0 -
Thanks for the links and the info I will give it a read.0

Littlemissy123, one of things about getting a set aside is that you must act in a timely manner after discovering the CCJ.
It has taken you over a week to respond to this thread.
Not nagging you... just pointing out stuff.0 -
Same advice as here:

Please do the survey consultation straight away, as the deadline is close, and tell the Govt/Court Service what you really think about this 'outrageous scam' (Hansard 2.2.18).
Then tell us - after reading the NEWBIES thread post #2 about set asides - whether you want to proceed with a £255 set aside (which PE will contest) or £100 ''with consent'' version (where you have to also pay PE off and be careful about the consent wording...).
Read other ParkingEye set aside threads, easy to search for, we do this at least once a month.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
