You need to have a plan in your head. If you pass the affordability test, what are you going to suggest to him to be removed from the mortgage/deeds? He is suggesting that any equity he would be entitled to should go to the children, so work out what he would be entitled to up to the time that you separated (and he stopped paying anything except for child maintenance), and agree via a deed of trust that this sum will go to your children if you sale or when they turn 18. This seems a very reasonable compromise, or do you disagree?0

I presume you are both registered as proprietors at HM Land registry. Have you checked?Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0
