Liverpool to Furteventura

I am looking to fly with Ryanair from Liverpool to Furteventura next month. I am not sure when Ryanair started this route. Has anyone flown this route yet? As it is a new route could there be problems with cancellations? I have never flown with Ryanair before and after reading some of the comments I am a bit concerned.
