Hi this is the email address I sent my email to: customer.services@poferries.com Unfortunately any correspondence always just came from the general email so Im not sure of the personal email. I think they must use the case number to direct the email to the correct person who is dealing with you. The P&O employee then liaised with a colleague in Hull who was in touch with someone at PPS and managed to get the charge cancelled. Their customer service was really good which was rather unexpected after reading other peoples experiences. Happy to help if anyone needs it.0

i have just left court after a 4 year long battle with pps and the judge ordered me to pay £200 which although seems a lot PPS will only receive a small percentage of that if any at all as the solicitor wanted their £148 wage plus 4yrs interest £28 and the total of the charge £263. i paid £100 to the court plus admin £40 so PPS will receive £60 (the original fine). i am very aggrieved by the parasitic leeches getting anything at all on principle but it cost them more than it cost me. i parked at hull and the ticket blew over in the wind or was turned over by the heat and was upside down on the dashboard i appealed to PPS (Oliver Taylor) who refused to quash the fine but i didn't appeal to BPA so i would suggest you appeal to both politely. when writing to them state you double checked the ticket was displayed properly before you left the vehicle and believed no further steps could be taken or were necessary and that it could only have been an act of god that caused it to fall on the floor which could have been prevented if PPS had supplied you with a sticky ticket or notice that this was a possibility. under no circumstances admit you could have done more to prevent it or find a cause for them to say you knew it could happen. that's how i ended up having to pay anything at all. the tickets use thermal paper which curls up in the heat but i couldn't use that argument as i didn't have evidence and the guidelines of the BPA don't mention using sticky tickets so i lost that argument as well even though that would be a permanent prevention of this happening again (which i truly believe is something set in place by design on their part to get more money because they know full well it happens ). they took it into court on the grounds that i breached their terms and conditions and didn't argue that the parking had been paid for in full. the obligation on your part is 2 fold to PAY which you did and DISPLAY which you didn't even though it wasn't your fault. as i said my result was that i lost but i didn't give them anywhere near what they wanted so i also won (out of principle) when you appeal to the BPA explain this happened before and must happen regularly (since oct 2015 when i got my ticket) and PPS know about it and that they could take steps to prevent it but haven't as i said mine happened nearly four years and it is still happening now so what does that say about PPS?0
