River Cruises in France.

Hi all, looking for advice from anyone who has cruised French rivers. We have cruised the Rhine and the Danube/Donau in the past and had a great time, but now we are both early 70's and disabled, with recent surgery for OH (new hip) and upcoming surgery for me. (pancreatic cyst) Probable dates from May to September this year. Bearing in mind our medical problems, has anyone any advice?
