What do I need to be able to use Miracast on my new smart 4K TV?
My DVD player is scart and my new TV does not have a scart socket but does have Miracast, so I thought that I could put the DVDs in my computer and watch them on my TV.
However my computer, Windows 10 pro, does not support Miracast.
Any other way to watch DVDs on my new TV or should I just buy a new DVD player?

You can buy an adapter from scart to hdmi but they are not cheap. I replaced my DVD for not much more but it was a cheap model.0

If the DVD player is so old it doesn't have HDMI, don't buy another one, go to BluRay and get the most out of your new 4K.0

if you bought a dumb tv and chromecast (£18) it would be so easy to cast via plex. having said that you would need to rip the dvd to mp4 first"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0
