Kitchen painting quote - north east uk

Hi There,
I have recently purchased a property which has a good quality solid wood kitchen. But the wood look isn't to our style so we want it painted a matte light grey color and the handles replacing for gold ones (which we will supply ourselves).
We had a quote for the spraying which came in at £1900. We though this seemed excessive. Especially as the previous owners had a quote of £1100 FROM THE SAME COMPANY less than a year ago!!
On the itemized bill it even suggests its £85 each to paint the built in wine racks.
overall i also want to add new worktops and have an island built in addition of the painting, so overall costs are coming out at about £4000 for the renovation. Can anyone recommend a good kitchen spaying / renovating company that could potentially do the whole job and save me some money? up to now I've only found either re-sprayers or kitchen fitters and no one that can offer both.
Thanks if you can help!
