title says it all really - the width of our chimney breast wall is 1420mm & the width of the fire we are looking at comes in 2 widths 1000m & 863mm, both fires depths are 590 mm - now I'm thinking the smaller one as it won't overpower the room & cbw, darling husband went for the bigger one, when will they learn that size isn't everything
is there some sort of ratio or rule of thumb when matching a fire to the wall its going on
we also need a new TV, I dread to think of the one he'll want!
